Corporate
David Hancock is a leading corporate photographer in Darwin. He also works as an industrial photographer and architectural photographer across the Top End of Australia.
David’s corporate photography has been used in annual reports, prospectuses, web sites, advertising and for awards.
David understands, coming as he does from a background in photojournalism and of working for newspapers and magazines such as Australian Geographic, that the best images are natural, candid and strong. He makes good use of the beautiful light of northern and central Australia, as well as stunning landscapes of the region.
David Hancock has been based in Darwin for 30 years and is one of the north’s most experienced corporate photographers.
David has photographed infrastructure, people and major projects for Ahrens, Roofmaster, Norbuilt, the AustralAsia Railway, Adrail, Hochtief and many other clients. His images of the construction of the Alice Springs to Darwin railway – and the workers and planners involved – were published by Australian Geographic and in a book about the project, A Vision Fulfilled.
David’s photography of people – capturing them in natural situations – enhances any publication or website. He is at home in offices and factories in Darwin as he is at remote Aboriginal communities, offshore platforms, cattle stations, stock camps or mine sites.
David Hancock’s corporate photography, industrial photography and architectural photography is tinged with the lush light and compelling landscapes of northern Australia and, where applicable, graced by people who work and live in the region.
They are natural, sometimes subdued, sometimes spectacular, images of life and development in the north.
