Welcome to the website of David Hancock Photography, Gallery Two Six and SkyScans Australia, all of which represent the work of Darwin photographer, David Hancock, one of northern Australia’s leading corporate, industrial and editorial photographers.

SkyScans Photo Library contains over 300,000 images, including one of the best collections of contemporary and traditional Aboriginal subjects, along with stunning images of landscapes and Outback life. Corporate and industrial photography is well represented with images from the mining, energy, oil and gas sectors. David has worked at mine sites and on offshore oil rigs for more than 30 years and is HUET trained.

Gallery Two Six is where David Hancock exhibits a portion of his imagery and the fine art photos of other Darwin and Top End photographers.

David is an experienced photographer and writer who has published six books and works widely for Australian Geographic and Outback magazines, the European picture agency, Anzenberger, as well as a number of corporate, government and indigenous clients.

David Hancock is a Darwin communications professional able to deliver high quality photography and writing, as well as advice on publishing. His writing skills have been honed over 35 years working for major companies and organizations, including 12 years with The Australian newspaper and 15 years with Fairfax publications. David writes about and photographs people to highlight their skills, strengths and character.

David Hancock works with graphic designers and printing houses in Australia and Asia to produce large projects. He is a leading book publisher in Darwin.

David Hancock is an experienced wedding photographer who enjoys photographing couples around Darwin but loves travelling out bush or to remote locations to photograph wedding ceremonies. No location is too difficult.

David travels widely throughout the Top End by 4WD vehicle, aircraft and helicopter, visiting remote communities, cattle stations, mine sites, tourist destinations and wild country for many of his clients
